The Medical Assistant supports efficient primary care delivery by providing both administrative and clinical support, working closely with the care team to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction. Key duties include performing clinical tasks like administering injections, collecting specimens, taking vital signs, and assisting with patient exams and procedures.
Candidates must have a High School diploma or equivalent and be a graduate of a Medical Assistant program, with MA certification being preferred. Essential abilities include clear communication, maintaining confidentiality, reacting calmly in emergencies, and possessing knowledge of medical terminology and patient care procedures.
