The role involves managing procedure and office appointment scheduling, contacting patients for follow-ups, and assisting clinic staff with schedule changes. Additionally, the coordinator will support the billing department by collecting co-pays and ensuring insurance verifications are current while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
A High School diploma is required for this position, and candidates are preferred to have experience in scheduling hospital procedures and dealing with medical practice insurance matters. Demonstrated organizational and time management skills, along with computer proficiency, are necessary.
