The primary duties involve preparing patients for doctor visits by taking them to exam rooms and recording vital signs, height, weight, and BMI. Additional responsibilities include performing EKGs, managing medication inventory, and maintaining accurate patient records in the electronic health system.
Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting. A Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification is preferred, but a High School Diploma or GED is the minimum educational requirement.
