The Medical Assistant will welcome, room, and prepare patients for exams and in-office procedures, including taking vitals and updating medical records in the EMR. Responsibilities also involve assisting physicians with minor procedures, basic podiatric services, and managing administrative tasks like insurance verifications and prescription processing.
A High School Diploma or GED is required, along with completion of a Medical Assistant program or at least one year of clinical experience. Preferred qualifications include CMA or RMA certification and experience with medical terminology and insurance processes.
