Job Description
ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced Special Procedures Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Interventional Radiology. This role requires strong prior IR and Cath Lab experience, including neurointerventional procedures and moderate sedation support. The technologist will scrub and circulate during complex diagnostic and interventional cases in a high-volume IR department.
Key Responsibilities
Scrub and circulate during interventional radiology procedures
Assist with neurointerventional and vascular procedures
Support moderate sedation cases
Operate IR imaging equipment safely and effectively
Maintain sterile technique and procedural safety standards
Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
Document procedures accurately in Cerner (Radnet)
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
Participate in weekend and on-call rotation
Qualifications
Previous Interventional Radiology experience required (scrub and circulate)
Neurointerventional radiology experience required
Moderate sedation experience required
Cath Lab experience preferred
Vascular OR experience preferred
BLS certification required
Experience with GE and Philips IR equipment preferred
Must be flexible and team-oriented
