Job Description
ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced Neuro ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in a high-acuity critical care unit. This role focuses on complex neurological and multisystem patients, including post-neurosurgical and stroke cases. Strong neuro and critical care skills are required, including ventilator and advanced line management. Epic charting experience and prior travel experience are required. Nurses must be comfortable floating to other ICU or telemetry units based on census.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-acuity care to neuro and critical care patients
Manage ventilated patients and advanced airways
Perform arterial line and central line management
Titrate vasopressors, sedation, and other critical drips
Monitor and manage dysrhythmias and cardiac drips
Interpret ABGs and continuous cardiac monitoring
Care for post-craniotomy, neurosurgery, and stroke patients
Manage EVDs, ICP monitoring, and neuro drains
Support CRRT/CVVHD and advanced organ support therapies
Follow strict isolation and infection prevention protocols
Document all patient care in Epic EMR
Float to other ICU or telemetry units as needed within ratio limits
Qualifications
Active RN license or compact license required at submission
Minimum 2 years ICU experience required
Strong Neuro ICU experience required
At least 1.5+ years of recent critical care experience
