The Registered Nurse will provide direct, high-acuity nursing care to critically ill neurological patients, including performing advanced neuro assessments and managing devices like EVDs and ventilators. Responsibilities also involve maintaining sterile technique for invasive procedures and accurately documenting care using the EMR.
Candidates must possess an active RN license and a BSN, along with a minimum of two years of ICU experience in a large acute care hospital, including Level 1 Trauma experience. Required clinical competencies include EVD experience and strong neuro assessment/ICP monitoring skills, with BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory.
We are seeking an experienced Neuro ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in a high-acuity, Level 1 trauma acute care setting. This role supports a specialized Neuro ICU caring for critically ill neurological patients, including complex surgical and trauma cases. First-time travelers are accepted. Candidates must be comfortable floating to other ICU and telemetry units as needed and must successfully complete required clinical skills validations during orientation.
