Job Description

ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in an acute care setting. The RN will provide emergency care to a broad patient population and support trauma and urgent cases. Candidates must be comfortable floating between the emergency department and inpatient units as needed. Evening and rotating weekend coverage required. Charge experience is preferred.

• Key Responsibilities
• Provide emergency nursing care for trauma and acute patients
• Perform triage and prioritize care based on acuity
• Monitor, assess, and stabilize patients in emergency situations
• Assist with trauma and critical care procedures
• Interpret cardiac telemetry strips
• Manage ventilated patients prior to ICU transfer
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Float between ER and inpatient units as needed
• Document care in the Cerner charting system

Qualifications

• Active RN license required at submission
• Minimum 2 years recent ER experience required
• Trauma-capable ER experience preferred
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• TNCC certification required
• ENPC or PALS certification required
• Triage experience preferred
• Ability to work evenings and rotating weekends
