The Registered Nurse (RN) in Labor and Delivery provides comprehensive care for laboring patients, manages deliveries, and performs newborn stabilization, including triage, inductions, and cesarean sections. Key duties involve administering obstetric medications, monitoring fetal status, documenting care in Epic, and being available for weekend coverage, call, and floating to qualified units.
Candidates must possess an active Tennessee RN license along with required certifications including BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate. A minimum of two years of direct Labor & Delivery experience and one year of Epic EMR experience are mandatory, and prior travel experience is required, with no first-time travelers accepted.
