The Medical Assistant will support physicians with direct patient care, including taking vitals, assisting with procedures, and preparing specimens. Additionally, the role involves significant administrative duties such as scheduling, managing patient check-in/out, and handling insurance verification.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and either completion of a Medical Assistant program or at least two years of clinical experience, with CMA or RMA certification being preferred. Essential skills include strong multitasking, communication, customer service, and proficiency with EMR systems and basic insurance processes.
The Medical Assistant supports physicians with hands-on patient care and provides front desk support such as scheduling, check-in, and patient communication. You’ll use both your clinical skills and your administrative strengths. This hybrid role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety and wants to be cross-trained in multiple areas of the office.
