The Medical Assistant 2 will support physicians with direct patient care, including taking vitals, assisting with procedures, and preparing specimens. Additionally, this role involves significant front desk duties such as scheduling, managing patient check-in/out, and handling insurance verification.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED along with completion of a Medical Assistant program or two years of clinical experience, and must hold a CMA or RMA certification. Required competencies include strong communication, multitasking, customer service skills, and proficiency with EMR systems and basic insurance processes.
The Medical Assistant 2 supports physicians with hands-on patient care and provides front desk support such as scheduling, check-in, and patient communication. You’ll use both your clinical skills and your administrative strengths. This hybrid role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety and wants to be cross-trained in multiple areas of the office.
