A nurse intern will participate in a structured internship program to gain practical clinical experience while being supervised by a licensed nurse, engaging in activities aligned with their pending LPN or RN licensure.
Applicants must be an RN or LPN student who has completed at least one year including one semester of clinical coursework with a verified passing grade. Candidates must also possess a BLS certification and have their affiliated college verify the nurse intern competency checklist.

A nurse intern will be engaged in a structured internship program to gain practical experience in clinical settings while under the supervision of a nurse. A nurse intern may participate, perform and engage in any and all aspects of the associated licensure they are seeking (LPN or RN) under the direct supervision of their assigned precepting nurse. A nurse intern may perform activities within the scope of unlicensed personnel without direct supervision of a precepting nurse.
