PSYCHIATRIST PHYSICIAN REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR OF MEDICAL SERVICES CLASSIFICATION: EXEMPT The Psychiatrist Physician diagnoses and treats diseases and injuries of the human mind across patients. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The following information is considered the definition of essential functions but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. The Psychiatrist Physician may be reassigned duties and responsibilities at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other staffing reasons.
Provides clinical care, including but not limited to acute and chronic mental medical and health maintenance care of patients; provides after-hours coverage for urgent health care problems for health center patients on a rotational on-call basis.
Participates in the health center's Performance Improvement program and assists in the formulation and implementation of the health center's health care plan especially in internal medicine protocols
Practices evidence-based medicine and Patient-Centered medicine.
Proficient in using Electronic Health Records (EHR) for clinical documentation, ordering and reviewing labs and radiology, and clearing all the tasks in a timely manner per organizational policies.
Maintain the required Medical Licenses, Certifications, and Credentials that are required JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Education:
MD I DO from an accredited university. ■ Completed ACGME Accredited Residency Training in Psychiatry. ■ Board Eligible or Board Certified as a Psychiatrist Physician licensed to practice in the state of Missouri.

Must have reliable transportation
Clinic hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
