The Obstetrician/Gynecologist provides comprehensive clinical care, including family planning, gynecological needs, and appropriate hospital care for health center patients. This role also involves participating in the health center's Performance Improvement program and providing rotational on-call coverage for urgent after-hours problems.

Exempt CareSTL Health is seeking an Obstetrician/Gynecologist (Ob/Gyn) to join our team! The Obstetrician/Gynecologist (Ob/Gyn) provides for the prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care of health center patients.

FUNCTIONS: The following information is considered the definition of essential functions but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. The Obstetrician/Gynecologist (Ob/Gyn) may be reassigned duties and responsibilities at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other staffing reasons.
Provides appropriate clinical care including but not limited to: the family planning and gynecological needs of the health center patients, appropriate hospital care related to the specific gynecological and/or surgical needs of health center patients, provides for afterhours coverage for urgent health care problems for health center patients on a rotational on-call basis as appropriate.
Participates in the health center's Performance Improvement program and assists in the formulation and implementation of the health center's health care plan based on Evidence Based Medicine and Value Based Care.
Proficient in use of Electronic Health Record (EHR) for documentation, completes and signs encounter note( s) within 24-48 hours, orders Jab test( s ), radiology tests, and reviews all the tasks assigned to them in timely fashion per organization policies.
Maintains all required medical licenses, certifications, and credentialing as required.
Participate in Quality Improvement and practices protocols.
MD I DO from an accredited university.
Completed ACGME Accredited Residency Training in OBG.
Board Eligible or Board Certified as an OBG Physician licensed to practice in the state of Missouri
Clinic hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
