The Medication Aide is responsible for setting up and administering resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards, potentially supervising CNAs as directed. Responsibilities also include providing personal hygiene assistance, aiding with activities of daily living like serving meals, and maintaining patient stability by checking vital signs.
Candidates must be licensed in Ohio as a Medication Aide and maintain current, unencumbered licensure. The role involves direct patient care tasks such as hygiene assistance, feeding, ambulation, and monitoring vital signs.
