The Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct care to residents according to individual care plans, administers medications, and monitors their effectiveness. Responsibilities also include documenting care, notifying relevant parties of significant changes in resident condition, and coordinating guidance for Home Health Aides.
Candidates must possess a degree from an accredited nursing program and hold a current MN LPN license in good standing with the Minnesota Board of Nursing. A minimum of 3-4 years of previous nursing experience in an assisted living facility is required.
