The Memory Care Activity Assistant plays a vital role in enriching residents' lives by creating a joyful and engaging environment with warmth and patience. They help seniors feel seen, heard, and valued while supporting their maximum cognitive and physical abilities.
Candidates must demonstrate C.A.R.E. values and possess a High School Diploma or GED, potentially supplemented by one to three months of related experience. Successful completion of a State Approved Nursing Assistant Training and Competency Evaluation Program, or equivalent, is required.

The Memory Care Activity Assistant plays a vital and heartfelt role in enriching the lives of residents. With warmth, patience, and genuine care, they help create a joyful and engaging environment where seniors feel seen, heard, and valued.
Being able to truly connect with residents, understanding their emotional and social needs.
A desire to work with those experiencing alzheimer’s disease and other memory-Related dementia assuring that each person lives every day to their maximum cognitive and physical ability.
The ability to work towards a common goal of excellent care for our residents. Cooperating closely with the care team to support residents holistically.
Balancing daily schedules, multiple residents, and activity prep.
Create engaging, age-Appropriate activities that suit different physical and cognitive abilities.
· demonstrates c.a.r.e. Values to our residents, family members, customers and staff. Compassion, accountability, relationships and excellence
· high school diploma or general education degree (Ged); or one to three months’ related experience and/Or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· successful completion of a state approved nursing assistant training and competency evaluation program or a cna competency evaluation program approved by the state. This training can also be provided by the community.
