The Medical Assistant assists in patient examination and treatment under the supervision of a licensed physician/provider, which includes preparing patients, taking vitals, and administering immunizations. Responsibilities also cover routine specimen collection, equipment preparation, cleaning instruments, assisting with in-office procedures, and providing general medical office support.
A high school diploma or GED is required, and completion of an accredited LPN or MA program is preferred, though candidates with EMT, CNA, or other medical experience are encouraged to apply. Candidates must be detail-oriented, reliable, able to communicate clearly, self-motivated, and capable of lifting 25 pounds without assistance.
The Clinic LPN/MA assists in the examination and treatment of patients under the direct supervision of a licensed physician/provider and reports to the RN Clinic Manager. Completion of an accredited LPN or MA program is preferred, but not required. EMT, CNA, and others with medical experience/training are encouraged to apply.
