The role involves providing psychiatric nursing services across various settings, collaborating with providers to coordinate treatment, and supporting individuals through recovery-based, person-centered, and trauma-informed care. Responsibilities also include conducting assessments, leading medication management, responding to crises, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Candidates must possess a Registered Nurse (RN) license or BSN, along with an active Michigan RN license and a valid driver's license. Preferred qualifications include four or more years of psychiatric nursing experience and knowledge of specific care methodologies like Motivational Interviewing and Trauma-Informed Care.
