The RN PACU initiates patient care delivery through the nursing process, covering the preoperative, interoperative, and postoperative phases for surgical patients. This role involves assisting with nursing care in a same-day surgery setting and assuming total responsibility for patient care according to physician orders and center policies.
Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and hold a current Registered Nurse License, along with BLS and ACLS certifications. Experience in Med Surg, ER, or ICU is preferred, but the center is willing to train new graduates.

Willing to train RN with experience in Med Surg, ER, ICU, or a new graduate! Fast paced, busy multi-specialty surgery center. Successful programs in Sports Medicine, Total Joint, Ortho Spine, ENT, Ophthalmology, and General Surgery.

Assists in provision of nursing care to patients in a same day surgery setting. Assumes total responsibility for patient care in accordance with physician’s orders and centers policies. Monitors and controls use of and charging for supplies utilized in the center.
