The Unlicensed Clinician provides mental health support services to members and their families within the program setting. This role also involves assisting in the coordination of all mental health support services by collaborating with team members and external agencies like the Conservator’s Office and Probation Department.
Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Social Sciences and have one year of direct service experience working with mentally ill individuals. Applicants are required to be currently registered with the CA Board of Behavioral Sciences (ASW, AMFT, or APCC) and must possess a valid driver's license and personal vehicle insurance.

The Clinician Unlicensed provides mental health support services to members served and their families at the program. The Clinician also assists in the coordination of all mental health support services provided by the Team. This includes coordinating and collaborating with team members and outside agencies such as, the Conservator’s Office, Public Guardian’s Office, Probation Department, County Behavioral Health Services, and housing and inpatient providers.
Expected starting wage range is $71,614.67 - $88,447.23. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

Contra Costa Hope House serves adults aged 18-59 experiencing an acute mental health emergency. Adults aged 59 and older are admitted on a case by case basis. The average length of stay is 7-10 days.
