The primary duties involve producing diagnostic images of soft tissues, which requires preparing the examination room and equipment, positioning and monitoring patients during the exam, and answering patient questions. The technologist must also ensure safety for both patients and staff, process routine paperwork, and file reports while adhering to organizational policies.
Candidates must have completed a radiologic technology course approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. A current certification (ARRT) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists is required for this position.
