The physician is responsible for performing physical examinations, diagnosing patients, and directing treatment plans within a hospital setting. They must also supervise mid-level practitioners and maintain accurate documentation of all patient interventions.
Candidates must hold a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree and have completed a residency program. A current Tennessee medical license, DEA certificate, and board eligibility or certification are required.
