The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits, managing and prescribing psychotropic medications for patients in long-term care settings. This involves collaborating with facility staff, family members, and providing compassionate, trauma-informed care while ensuring regulatory compliance in documentation.
Candidates must be a Certified PMHNP with an active DEA and an active, unrestricted state license to practice. Experience with geriatric or long-term care populations is preferred, and prior experience as a Psychiatric RN or NP in a nursing home setting is considered a plus.

Certified PMHNP Active DEA Active, unrestricted state license Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Experience with geriatric or long-term care populations preferred (not required) Prior experience as a Psychiatric RN or Psychiatric NP in a nursing home or similar setting is a plus
