Sylva Valley Health & Rehab is hiring a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to support safe, timely medication administration and strengthen our in-house team. This is a great role for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and wants to grow in healthcare. Competitive pay (based on experience and shift) 12-hour shifts: 7a–7p / 7p–7a Shift differentials for nights/weekends (where applicable) Vacation time + Sick time (per eligibility) Structured onboarding and training Supportive leadership and team culture Key responsibilities Administer medications within CMA scope and facility policy Follow safe medication practices and infection control standards Document medication administration accurately and on time Monitor residents for side effects and report concerns promptly Communicate with nurses regarding missed/refused meds, PRNs, and med concerns Support residents with dignity, respect, and professionalism
Current Certified Medication Aide (CMA) credential (state-approved) Strong attention to detail and safe practice habits Dependable attendance and teamwork Long-term care/SNF experience preferred (not required)
