About the role

The Advanced Practice Provider will join a skilled Urgent Care team to provide patient-centered, team-based care to a diverse patient population across two clinic locations. Responsibilities include seeing an average of 25-30 patients daily, working alongside physicians and support staff, and adhering to clinic hours operating seven days a week.

Valley Medical Center (VMC) is actively recruiting two full-time (1.0 FTE) Urgent Care Advanced Practice Providers to join our area clinics in our collaborative network where you will have easy access to system-wide support as you work alongside a highly motivated and skilled Urgent Care team. We provide patient-centered, team-based care to a diverse population of patients.

About the position

Clinic Hours: Open 7 days/week (8a – 8p M-F, 8a-4p Sa-Su)

General Schedule

7 days on 7 days off. Every other weekend

Limited call expectations

Average # of patients seen per day: 25-30 average/peak Flu/Cold slightly higher (30-35)

Support staff: average 3 PSRs per shift, 2 APPs, 5 MAs, 3 Providers

Practitioners: At least one physician is staffed with the APPs (ARNP/PAs) per shift

Qualifications: Ability to obtain medical professional license in the State of WA and DEA with full prescriptive authority

Preferred: Prior Urgent Care experience is preferred

Base Salary: $187,200

Valley Medical Center offers valuable healthy living benefits including group medical insurance, group dental insurance, a 403(b) Retirement Plan, life and AD&D insurance, supplemental life and AD&D insurance, long-term disability, supplemental long-term disability, flexible spending accounts, carpool incentives, parking, bereavement leave, jury duty, and an employee assistance program. Employees may also be eligible to receive 76 hours of sick leave, 7 days of holiday leave, and 2 floating holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees also earn 20 to 25 days of vacation leave per calendar year based on position and years of service. Requirements

Candidates must be able to obtain a medical professional license in Washington State and a DEA with full prescriptive authority; prior Urgent Care experience is preferred but not mandatory. The role requires working a 7 days on/7 days off schedule, seeing 25-30 patients per day, and participating in limited call expectations.
