The Caseworker will provide direct casework services to children with Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities and their families, focusing on developing and implementing service plans within a multi-disciplinary team setting. Responsibilities include ongoing risk assessment, arranging and supervising visits, maintaining thorough case records, and acting as a liaison with various external agencies.
A Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field is required, with a Master's degree strongly preferred; foster care and experience with the developmentally disabled population are preferred qualifications. Candidates must possess strong advocacy, communication, and organizational skills, along with a valid NYS Driver's License.
A Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field from an accredited college or university required. Master’s degree in social work strongly preferred. Degrees in other disciplines given full consideration.
Must have excellent writing skills and good basic computer skills including the ability to learn and navigate Connections, the NYS child welfare computer system. Strong time management skills required.
