The Licensed Practical Nurse assists in providing and coordinating nursing care and managing resources to deliver care for patients, their families, and the community, aiming to attain, maintain, and restore optimum health. This role involves communicating with the Registered Nurse and the care team to aid in clinical planning and patient care.
Candidates must be a graduate of a practical nursing school and hold a current LPN license in the State of Ohio. Authorization from the State of Ohio Board of Nursing to perform intravenous therapy procedures and administer medicines is required, although some sites may waive the IV therapy authorization.
Assists in providing and coordinating nursing care and managing resources in the delivery of care for patients, the family of patients and the community, with the goal of attaining, maintaining and restoring optimum health. Communicates with Registered Nurse and care team to assist with clinical planning and care of patients.
