The primary duty involves operating radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic radiographs of the body as directed by a Radiologist, which includes positioning patients and adjusting equipment settings. Responsibilities also cover patient interaction, practicing radiation safety, maintaining equipment, and assisting with departmental workflow management.
Candidates must possess an Associate’s degree or equivalent, along with six months to two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Essential qualifications include being AART registered or eligible, holding an IDNS license, and maintaining current CPR certification.
