Chemical Dependency Counselor II

The Chemical Dependency Counselor provides counseling services, including individual, family, and group sessions, along with case management for the Chemical Dependency Outpatient Department. Responsibilities also include chart documentation, utilization review, and managing insurance authorizations and clinical reviews.

Required qualifications include a current California Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor certification and a current Healthcare Provider BLS Card. Preferred qualifications include at least one year of experience in a Psychiatric/Chemical Dependency setting and a Bachelor's degree in an Allied Health Field.
