The Occupational Therapist delivers quality therapy services by performing evaluations, developing individual treatment plans and goals to maximize functional outcomes in inpatient/outpatient settings. The role involves implementing treatment programs, reassessing results, and maintaining professional standards within an interdisciplinary team approach.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy, be licensed by the State of Texas, and be certified by the NBCOT. Minimum requirements also include BLS CPR certification from the American Heart Association and demonstrated knowledge of clinical process principles and effective communication skills.
