The role involves performing a variety of imaging procedures including Fluoroscopy, OR, X-ray, and CT scans to aid in diagnosis, while ensuring image clarity meets diagnostic standards. Responsibilities also include preparing patients, maintaining equipment, following safety protocols to limit radiation dose, and managing patient records.
Candidates must be ARRT (R) and (CT) certified and possess at least one year of current experience performing Radiographic procedures, with three years preferred. A current BLS certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory before the start date.
What you will be doing: X-ray and CT Tech The ideal candidate will have experience performing a variety of imaging procedures, comfortable working in a sometime hectic environment, demonstrate a high level of skill, confidence, and autonomy while practicing proper safety techniques and providing high quality films. Must be able to do Fluoroscopy, OR, X-ray, and CT. Imaging Procedures: Perform Fluoroscopy or X-ray and CT scans to assist in diagnosing injuries and diseases. Patient Interaction: Prepare patients for scans, answer questions, and provide reassurance. Image Evaluation: Review scans for clarity and ensure they meet diagnostic standards before sending them to radiologists. Equipment & Safety: Calibrate and maintain equipment, and follow safety protocols to limit radiation dose to patients and staff. Documentation & Logistics: Maintain patient records, manage inventory, and collaborate with healthcare teams Perform any other relevant task assigned. Experience you will need: X-ray and CT Tech ARRT (R) and (CT); both required 1 year of current experience performing Radiographic procedures is required, 3 years is preferred. BLS through the American Heart Association with card in-hand before start date. Ability to perform in three modalities is a plus.
