The nurse serves as a resource in the Radiation Therapy Department, providing quality nursing care across all phases of patient treatment, convalescence, rehabilitation, and follow-up. Key duties include performing new patient intake, comprehensive assessments, patient education regarding radiation treatment, and monitoring patients during on-treatment visits.
A minimum requirement is graduation from an approved Registered Nursing program and at least two years of experience in an Oncology setting with knowledge of cancer patient care. A State Issued Nursing License and current CPR certification are mandatory.
Serves as a nurse in the Radiation Therapy Department. Will act as a resource person to both in and out patients providing quality nursing care and involvement in all phases of treatment, convalescence, rehabilitation, and follow-up of patient.
Experience Requirements • Minimum: 2 years experience in the Oncology setting and a working knowledge of cancer patient care
