The Licensed Practical Nurse implements planned interventions under Registered Nurse supervision, administers medications, monitors intravenous fluids, and responds to patient needs via call lights and rounds. Responsibilities also include communicating patient condition changes, providing patient education, and documenting care accurately.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing and hold a Practical Nursing license eligible to practice in Indiana, along with Basic Life Safety certification. No prior experience is required, though hospital experience is preferred.
