The role involves planning and administering treatment and therapy programs for patients with various speech, language, swallowing, cognitive, and physical disabilities to maximize their functional independence. This must be done under the general supervision of the Manager and in alignment with Tampa General Hospital's mission, vision, and values.
Candidates must possess a Master's Degree in Speech Pathology and hold the CCC-SLP certification. A minimum of one year of experience is required, along with licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist by the State of Florida.
Under the general supervision of the Manager and according to the established policies and procedures, plans and administers treatment and therapy programs designed to assist patients having various speech - language, swallowing, cognitive and physical disabilities to achieve their highest level of functional independence. Also responsible for performing the job duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.
