The Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) will be responsible for executing all Respiratory Care procedures within both general and critical care environments. This role requires adherence to specific certification requirements based on assignment areas like the ER, Pedi, or NICU.
Candidates must possess a High School diploma or GED equivalent and be a graduate of an approved Respiratory Care program. Required credentials include licensure by the Texas Medical Board as an RCP, current ACLS certification, and NBRC verification as a CRT.
The Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) will be responsible for performing all Respiratory Care procedures in the general and/or critical care settings.
High School (or GED equivalent) diploma. Graduate of an approved Respiratory Care. Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP). BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. Current ACLS certification. (CRT) Certified Respiratory Therapist verified through NBRC. Assignment to the ER or Pedi must have current PALS. Assignment to the NICU must have a current NRP.
