The Psychiatrist provides direct care, including diagnosis and treatment for patients with mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders, while participating in an inter-disciplinary team to coordinate care and support outpatient services. Key duties involve psychiatric management, medication management, crisis intervention, and completing necessary documentation and compliance tasks.
Candidates must possess an MD/DO degree from an accredited program and be Board certified in Psychiatry, with active DEA and CDS licenses in the District of Columbia, or the ability to obtain them. Two years of post-Board Certification experience is preferred, and all licensure must be in good standing.

The Psychiatrist provides direct care including diagnosis and treatment of patients with mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. This role supports the Behavioral Health outpatient services program through the participation on an inter-disciplinary team including prescribers, clinical supervisors, nurses, community-based specialists, pharmacy staff, and administrative staff to provide services, collaborate with external providers, and incorporate health and wellness needs into the plan of care of clients served.
