The role involves functioning as a professional responsible and accountable for performing clinical laboratory testing essential for patient care and diagnosis. Responsibilities include executing routine and special laboratory procedures, managing quality control, performing maintenance, and ensuring timely and accurate results.
Candidates must possess either a Baccalaureate Degree or an Associate Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Laboratory Technician, or a related chemical, physical, or biological science degree. Certification such as ASCP is preferred, and previous clinical laboratory experience, especially in Microbiology, is highly desired.
