Provide expert diagnostic interpretation in aspiration and exfoliative cytopathology
Perform rapid on-site evaluation (ROSE) via telepathology for fine needle aspiration procedures conducted by interventional radiology and endoscopy teams
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary clinical teams to support accurate, timely, and patient-centered cancer diagnosis and care
Participate in subspecialty Anatomic Pathology sign-out within a highly collaborative academic department
Participate in translational and clinical research initiatives within the Department and across Roswell Park
Utilize extensive institutional shared resources and biorepository infrastructure to support innovative research efforts
Pursue independent academic and scientific interests with departmental support, including protected research time and financial resources
Contribute to scholarly activities including publications, presentations, and collaborative academic initiatives
Teach and mentor residents, fellows, medical students, and cytotechnology trainees
Support educational excellence within the department’s academic programs
Participate in leadership opportunities including Cytopathology Fellowship Program Director and Medical Director of the Cytotechnology Program
