The Nurse Practitioner provides primary care medical services, including preventive exams, evaluation, and treatment of injuries and illnesses, while ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests as appropriate. Responsibilities also include prescribing medication, performing procedures, managing patient care plans, and ensuring effective communication with patients and families regarding diagnosis and treatment.
Candidates must possess an active Alaska License for NP, along with active BLS, ACLS, and DEA certifications. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in family practice and urgent care settings is required for this role.
