Responsibilities

• Operate sonography equipment to produce images of specified areas of the body and performs related technical functions utilizing ultrasound imaging principles.
• Demonstrate the technical skills necessary to provide outstanding image quality for all abdominal and small parts, OB /Gyn and pediatric ultrasounds.
• Exhibit knowledge and skills for providing imaging guidance during invasive procedures.
• Perform imaging in accordance with recommended safe patient practices.
• Prepare exam rooms, equipment, supplies, and medications.
• Provide safe patient care and excellent customer service to all patient populations.
• Possess excellent critical thinking skills along with the ability to work in a high volume and fast paced environment.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, physicians, and intra- and inter-departmentally situations.
• Additional responsibilities as designated by Diagnostic Imaging leadership team.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

• ARRT (R) or ARDMS. BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

• Requirements: Two (2) years of related experience. Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology.
