The Registered Nurse will provide professional nursing care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit, focusing on assessing, monitoring, and stabilizing patients immediately following anesthesia. This involves coordinating closely with surgical and anesthesia teams to manage recovery needs, administer medications, and educate patients and families.
Candidates must possess a current Arkansas Registered Nurse license and maintain BLS certification, with ACLS and PALS required within one year of hire. Essential qualifications include demonstrated knowledge of PACU patient care, medication management, emergency recognition, and the ability to pass a pharmacology test post-orientation.
Day Shift with on-call support for urgent/emergent cases; may include nights, weekends, and holidays per department needs.
