The Emergency Department/Acute Care Technician (EDAT) provides basic technical patient care skills under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. They work closely with the RN to ensure safe and quality patient care.
Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and relevant certifications such as AAMA Certified Medical Assistant or Emergency Medical Technician. One year of experience is preferred.

The Emergency Department/Acute Care Technician (EDAT) is a staff position responsible for providing basic technical patient care skills under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN). The EDAT works in close collaboration with an assigned RN to provide safe and quality patient care, is a valued member of the patient care team, and functions under the direction of the RN. Estimated pay range for this position is $22.50 / hour depending on shift as applicable.
