The role involves providing direct nursing care in a diverse acute care environment, implementing, monitoring, and updating patient care plans while assessing and communicating patient condition changes. This position also coordinates interdisciplinary care and executes physician and nursing orders across varying assignments and acuity levels.
Minimum requirements include a Registered Nurse credential from the Tennessee Board of Nursing and a diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing, or professional licensure at hire. Candidates must also obtain BLS Provider certification within one month of hire, with 12-18 months of direct acute care RN experience being a preferred qualification.

How you’ll make an impact in this role Provides direct nursing care in a diverse acute care environment in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and protocols. Implements, monitors, and updates patient care plans while assessing, documenting, and communicating changes in patient condition. Coordinates interdisciplinary care to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered outcomes. Executes physician and nursing orders while prioritizing and managing patient care needs across varying assignments and acuity levels.
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.
