The Pediatrician will create and implement medical care programs for children from birth to adolescence to support their mental and physical growth and development. Primary duties include examining patients to determine disease presence, establishing preventive health practices, and prescribing medications and immunizations.
Successful candidates must possess Board Certification and licensure in Kansas or Missouri, along with successful completion of an accredited three-year pediatrics residency program. Excellent communication skills are required to foster long-term, caring relationships with children and their parents, and BCLS certification is mandatory.
