The Team Care Coordinator is responsible for accurately documenting medical visits by accompanying providers to transcribe patient intake, history, procedures, and plans. This role also involves handling patient phone calls, managing provider schedules, and submitting or renewing physical therapy orders.
Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred qualifications including a medical background, anatomy coursework, or a Certified Medical Assistant certification, and experience with Athena is preferred. Essential abilities include typing at 40 WPM, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and the capacity to manage complex situations and maintain patient confidentiality.
