  • Overview: As a Mammography Technologist working at the Thomas Center, you play a vital role in supporting early detection, accurate diagnosis, and life‑changing outcomes for the patients and families we serve by performing high‑quality screening and diagnostic mammography, guided procedures, specimen imaging, and bone density scans under the direction of a Radiologist and supervision of leadership. You follow ACR appropriateness criteria and physician‑approved protocols while maintaining annual competencies, ensuring accurate EMR documentation, and upholding FDA/ACR quality assurance standards. In this fast‑paced environment, you collaborate with radiologists, surgical teams, and staff to provide compassionate, patient‑centered care, maintain equipment functionality and safety standards, support infection prevention practices, assist with records management, and contribute to student education and onboarding. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, along with flexibility to travel as needed, maintain ARRT and ODH licensure, meet continuing education requirements, and obtain mammography certification within 12 months, all while adhering to ASRT practice standards.

Demonstrates the ability to consistently produce and evaluate screening and diagnostic mammography for radiological interpretation. Demonstrates competency through ongoing CBE's. Demonstrates knowledge of equipment and its operating procedures through CBE's. Selects proper imaging protocols and follows departmental procedures. Requirements

Candidates must possess an Associate's Degree in Allied Health and be a graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program, along with holding Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
