The Laboratory Technician is responsible for collecting patient specimens using venipuncture and skin puncture techniques. They also perform pre-analytic processing and accessioning of specimens into the laboratory information system.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and have completed a formal phlebotomy training program or externship. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment are required.
