• Recruiter: Arianna Biondo Alice Hyde Medical Center (AHMC) in Malone, NY is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Hospital Medicine team in a 0.62 FTE daytime role. You’ll provide high‑quality inpatient care alongside a supportive Hospitalist and a collaborative clinical team, with meaningful autonomy and the chance to make a real impact in a community‑focused hospital setting. What You’ll Do Assess, diagnose, and manage hospitalized patients in coordination with the Hospitalist physician. Respond to nursing staff calls and evaluate changes in patient condition. Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostic tests. Prescribe medications and develop evidence‑based treatment plans. Complete admissions, daily progress notes, and discharge planning, including summaries and follow‑up coordination. Support patient flow across inpatient units and partner with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely, high‑quality care. Schedule 0.62 FTE (~25 hours/week), weekday daytime shifts. Combination of 8–10-hour shifts, depending on operational needs.
• No night shifts: occasional weekend or holiday participation may be requested. What You Bring Active licensure (or eligibility) as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in New York State. Experience required in Hospital Medicine or acute care (not open to new graduates at this time). Ability to practice with independence and confidence in a mixed‑acuity inpatient environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing, therapies, and case management. A commitment to patient‑centered, compassionate care.
