The coordinator is responsible for implementing the wraparound process, ensuring system of care values guide service delivery to families and youth involved with Juvenile Justice. This includes providing screening, monitoring, and linkage to mental health/substance use services for youth under Mental Health Court supervision.
A Master’s Degree in a related field and a valid, unrestricted Georgia Driver’s License are the minimum requirements for this role. Preferred qualifications include relevant licensure, two years of social service experience working with co-occurring disorders, and computer proficiency.

To implement the wraparound process and ensure that system of care values and guiding principles are evidenced in service delivery to families and youth involved with the Department of Juvenile Justice, in an individualized manner. Provide screening, monitoring and linkage to mental health/ substance use services for youth clients under the Mental Health Court supervision; overall responsibility relevant to coordinating treatment and services for Mental Health Court participants. Assist in obtaining community resources and benefits through the Positive Action Program, Beautiful Minds Clubhouse through Mental Services provided by Middle Flint. Monitor, support and report progress to the court and probation officers. Meet with collateral contacts of school officials, develop/maintain documentation to account for services being rendered. Transporting individuals served is a requirement.
Master’s Degree in related field. Valid, unrestricted Georgia Driver’s License.
Current licensure as a Master’s Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist or Licensed Professional Counselor by Georgia Composite Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapist or CAC, CADC, or MAC. Two years’ work experience in social service delivery (case management, outreach, prevention/education, individual assessments, counseling) that includes experience providing individual and group services to individuals with co-occurring disorders. Computer proficient and have the ability to multi-task. Experience working in mental health and experience conducting groups. Must have CPR/First-aid/AED certification. Keyboard proficient with basic computer and typing skills.
